Birmingham Opera Company’s critically acclaimed production of Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk has won the Royal Philharmonic Society ‘Opera and Music Theatre’ Award 2019. On 8 November Alpesh returned to Parma to conduct the first concert of La Toscanini's 2019/20 season at the Auditorium Paganini, with a thrilling all Beethoven programme. Alpesh led the orchestra through Beethoven's Symphony No. 8 and 9, and has since received the following review from Gazzetta di Parma: " ...
